Coaching Tools

Feeling brave is half the battle to doing your hair at home. The other half is confidence in making sure you have the right tools for what you need. This guide will give you some helpful tips before scheduling. Make sure you consult with me to make sure you have the correct tools. You can do this.

​Hair Cutting for Men's Short Hair: Order online from Amazon or ask friends to barrow theirs (You can use alcohol to disinfect before using)

Barbering HairCuts Need:​​

​

  • Clippers with adjustable guards

  • Edgers

  • Cutting comb with close teeth (not wide teeth comb) like in this photo.

  • Water bottle

  • Clips if you have longer hair

​Haircutting for Short Hair- Neck Trims - Around the Ears-Bangs- Wings Support: Order online from Amazon or ask friends to barrow theirs (You can use alcohol to disinfect before using)

Haircutting Supplies Need:

  • Feather Razor

  • Texturizing Scissors

  • Cutting comb with close teeth (not wide teeth comb) like in this photo.

  • Water bottle

Hair Color- Gray Coverage

  1. Consult with Dayna before order color. The images and numbers are very confusing and you could make a mess with too dark and this will cost you $100's to fix. 

  2. Once approved: order your color online or pick up at a store.

  3. Vaseline for scalp skin protection.

  4. All boxes of color will come with gloves and a applicator                                                                                                        NOTE: Professional color is always a better choice for that authentic outcome but when we are stuck without options, then box is an ok choice:)

Teenage Bleaching Ombre

  1. Consult with Dayna before order color. Buy two kits of Manic Panic Bleach Click Link, Send Dayna a picture of the goal

  2. Once approved: order your color online or pick up at a store.

  3. All boxes of color will come with gloves and a applicator

  4. Foil from you kitchen

  5. Comb                                                                                              NOTE: Professional color is always a better choice for that authentic outcome but when we are stuck without options, then box is an ok choice:)
